Unique-Bargains Door Barrel Bolt Latch 4 Inch 4 Pack Stainless Steel

Four-inch stainless barrel bolts

This pack supplies four 100 by 27 millimetre barrel bolts made from stainless steel with a silver-tone finish. Each latch uses a sliding bolt mechanism to secure doors, windows, cupboards, sheds, bathrooms or bedrooms. The set includes twenty-four mounting screws so no extra hardware is required. The corrosion-resistant material is built to withstand daily wear without fading.

Check door thickness and hole layout

Verify that the mounting surface can accept two 3.5 millimetre diameter holes spaced 79 millimetres apart on the bolt plate and 20 millimetres apart on the strike plate. The instructions note that door thickness must be measured before drilling to ensure the bolt throw engages properly. Both vertical and horizontal orientations are supported, so confirm which direction suits the frame. No specialised tools are needed beyond a drill and screwdriver.

Quiet mechanical operation with no power draw

The latch operates purely by hand, so it adds no electrical load and produces no fan or motor noise. Stainless steel construction resists rust and maintains smooth sliding action over long-term use. The simple bolt design eliminates loose components that could rattle. Installation requires only the supplied screws, leaving the finished hardware flush and silent in normal service.
