A pack of five 100 mm HSS ground shafts for RC helicopter engine repairs

  • Product typeOther Accessories
  • High-speed steel construction resists wear during mechanical transmission
  • 100 mm ground shaft length suits precision hardware and mold applications
  • 3 mm diameter enables accurate fit in RC helicopter assemblies
  • Five rods per pack provide spares for extended maintenance cycles
  • Light 28 g net weight minimises added mass on rotating components

RC Helicopter Ground Shaft Set

This pack contains five silver-tone HSS ground shafts sized for RC helicopter drivetrains. Each rod measures 100 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. The high-speed steel construction resists wear under repeated rotation. The total package weighs 28 g.

Five-Piece Shaft Bundle

Supplying five identical rods lets you replace a worn shaft and keep spares for future maintenance. The uniform dimensions mean any rod fits the same mounting points without re-measurement. Having multiples on hand reduces downtime between flights.

For RC Helicopter Builders and Repairers

Suitable for hobbyists maintaining or assembling scale and sport helicopters that use 3 mm ground shafts. Not intended for larger-scale models requiring thicker or longer shafts. Buyers needing different diameters or materials should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the HSS ground shafts need replacement due to wear in mechanical transmission setups?

HSS material resists wear in mechanical transmission use, so the 5-piece set provides spares before any replacement is needed.

What dimensional limit appears first when the 100mm shafts run continuously in an RC helicopter?

The 100mm length and 3mm diameter define the mechanical envelope; sustained load will reach the shaft's yield point before any other limit.

How much heat or vibration do the 28g silver-tone rods generate during all-day operation?

At 28g total the rods add minimal rotating mass, so heat and vibration stay low during extended running.
