Right-angle corner braces for furniture repair

These white metal brackets join two pieces at 90 degrees using pre-drilled 5 mm holes spaced 18 mm apart. Each L-shaped piece measures 3.1 cm by 2.6 cm by 2.6 cm and weighs 45 g for the set of four. Rounded edges reduce snagging on fabric or hands during assembly. Suitable for reinforcing chairs, shelves, window frames and door frames.

Check material thickness

The 5 mm mounting holes accept wood screws or bolts up to that diameter; verify your timber is thick enough to hold the fastener without splitting. Ensure the 18 mm hole centres align with your existing pilot holes or planned layout. Confirm a white finish matches the surrounding hardware or paint scheme.

Braces hold steady under constant shelf weight

The steel construction resists bending when supporting a loaded shelf or a chair joint that sees daily stress. White coating protects against surface corrosion in dry indoor environments. Four brackets distribute load across multiple fixings, reducing creep at each screw over time.

How much weight can one 45g bracket actually support in a shelf?

The 45g steel bracket is rated for light-duty reinforcement such as shelf supports, chair frames or window fixings rather than heavy structural loads.
