Product Purpose

Fit and Alternatives

Installers routing 10-14 mm cables through M22 threaded holes will find these glands match the cut-out. Buyers needing smaller or larger cable ranges should look elsewhere. The pack contains four glands only; projects requiring more pieces need additional packs.

Critical Specification

Thread size M22x1.5 and cable range 10-14 mm decide compatibility. The gland body measures 40 mm long by 30 mm across with a 7 mm thread engagement. Verify the panel cut-out and cable diameter before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the M22x1.5 thread on these cable glands need re-tightening after vibration?

The 7 mm thread length provides a secure fit; periodic inspection is recommended in high-vibration machinery control boxes.

What is the maximum cable diameter the M22 gland can seal continuously?

The clamping die accommodates cables from 10 mm to 14 mm; exceeding 14 mm will compromise the strain relief seal.

How hot does the nylon body get when the gland runs inside a distribution panel all day?

The black nylon housing operates at ambient panel temperature; it does not generate heat itself.
