M5 Thread Inserts for Repair Work

This pack contains 20 self-tapping thread inserts made from 304 stainless steel. They are designed to repair damaged threads or add strong threads in softer materials. The slotted head allows installation with a standard flat-head screwdriver. Each insert measures 10mm long with an 8mm outer diameter.

Slotted Drive Fits Standard Tools

No special installation tool is required because the inserts accept a common slotted bit. The self-tapping exterior cuts its own threads during installation, so a pre-tapped hole is unnecessary. This frees up workshop time and reduces the number of taps and dies needed for a repair job.

304 Steel Resists Corrosion

The 304 stainless construction provides anti-rust performance for long service life in damp or outdoor environments. The M5 internal thread accepts standard metric bolts for a secure hold. The 35g pack weight reflects the compact 0.39 by 0.31 inch size, which limits use to light-duty fastening rather than heavy structural loads.
