Metal Box Corner Protectors

These black metal corner protectors suit anyone reinforcing wooden boxes, tool cases, flight crates or gift boxes. The rounded profile guards edges from impact while the spray-painted finish resists everyday wear. They install quickly with small nails or pins through the pre-drilled holes.

12-piece pack capacity

Twelve pieces cover all eight corners of a single large crate with four spares, or two smaller boxes completely. Each protector measures 33 x 33 x 33 mm so it fits standard right-angle joints, yet the 1.5 mm mount holes limit fastener choice to fine nails or pins no thicker than 2.5 mm.

Thermals and noise

Metal construction adds no moving parts, so the protectors generate no heat or sound during use. The spray-paint surface stays cool to the touch and requires no power, making them silent and thermally neutral in any environment.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.5 mm mount holes line up with the 8 x 2.5 mm nails already in my wooden flight cases?

Yes — each protector has a 1.5 mm centre hole on both faces and the supplied nails are 8 mm long by 2.5 mm max diameter, so they pass through the hole and bite into the timber.

How can I confirm the 33 x 33 x 33 mm protectors are seated correctly after fitting?

Check that every corner sits flush with both box faces, the rounded folds follow the edge without gaps, and all nail heads are driven home so the black spray-paint surface is level.

Does the 12-piece pack include nails or must I buy them separately?

The pack contains only the 12 metal corner protectors; the 8 x 2.5 mm nails are specified for reference but are not supplied.
