Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 433.92MHz remote works after the locksmith programs it?

Test all four buttons — lock, unlock, panic and double-press start — at a reasonable distance; the doors should respond instantly and the panic alarm should sound.

What comes in the package and what must I source separately?

The box contains one black remote with a CR2032 battery installed and an uncut door key; you must pay a locksmith or dealership to cut the key blade and program the fob to your RAM 1500.

Which version fits my truck — the 2019 or 2022 model year?

Part OHT-4882056 covers every RAM 1500 from 2019 through 2022, so a single version works across those years.
