OSB-10 6mm Wire Cap Connectors

The OSB-10 snap bushings protect cables from abrasion where wires pass through panels. Each unit has a 6mm wire hole diameter and fits a 9.5mm mounting hole. The pack contains 50 pieces for wiring harness jobs.

Installation and common issues

Push the bushing into a 9.5mm hole until the flange seats flush. The 11.8mm outer diameter covers the cut edge and the 9.8mm height clears thin panels. A loose fit means the panel hole is oversized; an oversized wire will not pass the 6mm opening.

6mm wire hole diameter

This single dimension decides if the part works. Only cables up to 6mm overall diameter pass through. Builders routing thicker conductors or needing a larger mounting hole must choose a different bushing size.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the OSB-10 snap bushings are seated correctly after installation?

Each bushing should snap firmly into a 9.5mm mounting hole with the 6mm wire hole centred; the 9.8mm height sits flush against the panel and the 11.8mm outer diameter covers the cut-out completely.

What comes in the package and is anything else required?

The box contains 50 black OSB-10 cable snap bushings weighing 15g total; no additional hardware is included, so you only need a 9.5mm panel hole for each bushing.

Which version should I choose for a 6mm cable?

The OSB-10 model is made for a 6mm wire hole diameter; select this version when your cables measure 6mm and the panel cut-out is 9.5mm.
