Oval rubber grommet 60 x 25 mm

These oval rubber grommets mount in a 60 by 25 mm opening and accept cables up to 55 by 20 mm through the inner aperture. The double-sided flange grips panel material 2 mm thick to protect wires from sharp edges. Four pieces are supplied for multiple routing points.

Capacity and headroom

The 55 by 20 mm inner opening handles standard automotive and household wire bundles comfortably. Thicker harnesses or multi-conduit runs will exceed the aperture and require a larger grommet or individual drilling. Heat-resistant rubber maintains grip in engine-bay and industrial temperatures.

Pre-slotted adjustable centre

Each grommet arrives with a pre-cut slot so the installer drills only the diameter needed for a tight or loose fit around each cord. This eliminates guesswork and prevents cable damage during installation. The flexible rubber construction simplifies routing in boats, offices and machinery.

Questions about this item

Will the 60 x 25 mm drill hole match the cut-out I already have in the panel?

The grommet is designed for a 60 x 25 mm (2.36 x 0.98 in) oval mounting hole. Measure your existing opening; if it matches those dimensions the part will seat correctly.

How can I confirm the grommet is seated properly after I press it in?

When installed correctly the double-sided flange sits flush on both faces of the panel and the 2 mm groove grips the edge. You should see the black oval rim evenly exposed around the 55 x 20 mm inner opening.

Does the pack include any screws, adhesive or a hole-cutting tool?

The package contains only four black rubber grommets. Fasteners, sealant and a drill or hole saw for the 60 x 25 mm opening must be sourced separately.
