Questions about this item

How often will the CR2032 battery need replacing?

The CR2032 lithium cell powers the 315MHz remote; typical life is one to two years depending on daily use.

What stops the fob from working if I press the buttons repeatedly?

The 315MHz transmitter draws peak current on each press; a depleted CR2032 will cause range loss before total failure.

Does the fob get warm or drain the battery if left in a hot car all day?

The plastic and metal housing has no active electronics while idle; heat only ages the CR2032 faster, it does not create drain.
