Connects 5V 3-pin 5050 and 3528 RGB LED strips or strips to controllers with a 1 m female-to-female cable
This RGB splitter cable connects 5V addressable LED strips using a 3-pin female-to-female layout. It suits builders extending 5050 or 3528 strips between a controller and the first strip or between multiple strips in a single run.
The 1-metre cord uses a simple 1-female-to-1-female connector that plugs directly into standard 3-pin 5V headers on strips or controllers. No soldering or tools are required, so re-routing or adding sections can be done quickly during a build or upgrade.
The cable is rated for 5V only; connecting it to a 4-pin 12V RGB header will damage the attached LED strips. It carries a 3-pin signal, so it cannot be used with 4-pin 12V RGB devices or any non-5V addressable lighting system.

The 3-pin 5V connector restricts use to 5050 and 3528 RGB LED strips or fans; connecting to a 4-pin 12V header will burn the strip.
The 1 metre / 3.3 ft cord needs enough slack to span between two female ports on your controller and LED strip without tension on the connectors.
Plug one female end into the IR/RF controller output and the other into the 5050/3528 strip input; the step often missed is verifying the strip is 5V 3-pin before powering on.
