RJ45 boot covers for CAT5 and CAT5e cables

These transparent plastic boots protect RJ45 connectors from dust and oxidation, helping to extend the plug’s service life. The pack contains 50 pieces, each sized to fit standard CAT5 and CAT5e patch cables. They suit home and office networks where cables are regularly connected to routers, switches, modems or TV boxes.

Fits only CAT5 and CAT5e patch cables

The boot’s internal diameter is 6.5 mm, so it will not accommodate thicker CAT6 or CAT6a cables. The overall dimensions are 32 x 11.6 x 13 mm, which limits use to standard RJ45 plugs on the listed cable categories. No other cable types or connector sizes are supported by this design.

Simple push-on installation with no tools required

Slide the boot over the terminated RJ45 plug until it seats against the connector body. The tight fit on 6.5 mm cables means installers must verify cable diameter before starting; forcing an oversized cable will damage the boot or leave the connector exposed. The pack provides enough units for multiple patch leads.
