23A 12V N Battery Holder

This holder accepts a single 23A 12V N cell and is sold as a pair of black ABS cases. It is intended for hobbyists and technicians who need a compact, screw-mountable enclosure for low-voltage projects or external power connections.

Spring-Loaded Contacts and Mounting Holes

Each case measures 35 x 13 x 12mm and weighs 6g, fitting tight spaces inside tool housings or custom brackets. A 3mm mounting hole allows secure fastening, while the 15cm wire lead provides reach to a circuit board or terminal block without soldering directly to the cell.

Two Holders for Dual-Cell Configurations

The twin pack supports designs that run two cells in series or parallel, giving 12V or extended runtime within the same footprint. It cannot house larger formats such as AA or 9V types, so builders needing higher capacity or different chemistries must choose another enclosure.

Questions about this item

Will the ABS holder soften or deform if the 23A 12V cell gets warm during extended use?

The holder is moulded from ABS plastic, which resists moderate heat from a 12 V battery under normal load.

Does the holder generate any audible noise or electrical hum when a battery is installed all day?

It has no moving parts or electronics, so it remains completely silent during continuous operation.

What must I supply to actually power a device from this holder?

You need a 23A 12 V N-type battery, two mounting screws for the 3 mm holes, and wire for the 15 cm leads.
