Three-Piece Stainless Steel Tong Set

This set contains three stainless steel cooking tongs measuring 7-inch, 9-inch and 12-inch. Each tong features a silicone-covered handle for a slip-proof grip and a pull-ring locking mechanism for compact storage. The pieces are designed for cooking, grilling and serving tasks.

Home Cooks Seeking Versatile Lengths

The three lengths cover most pan, grill and serving situations, while the locking ring keeps drawers tidy. Buyers who need high-heat tips rated for extreme searing or non-silicone gripping surfaces should look elsewhere. Those requiring tongs longer than 12-inch or shorter than 7-inch will not find a suitable size here.

Pull-Ring Locking Mechanism

A pull ring on each tong allows the jaws to be closed and secured with one hand. This feature simplifies storage in drawers or on hooks and prevents the tongs from springing open when not in use.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 7-inch, 9-inch and 12-inch tongs in this set?

The 7-inch pair measures 213 mm long for precise tasks, the 9-inch is 270 mm for everyday turning, and the 12-inch reaches 345 mm to keep hands farther from high heat on a grill.

What does the 345 mm length of the largest tongs mean when I am cooking?

At 345 mm the 12-inch tongs let you flip steaks or vegetables on a hot barbecue while your hand stays well clear of the flame and rising heat.

How does the pull-ring locking mechanism work on these stainless steel tongs?

Pull the ring to close the jaws; the lock holds them shut for compact drawer storage or hanging, and releases with a simple squeeze when you need them again.
