Questions about this item

Does the EA520 need a separate power supply or does it run on its own battery?

The EA520 includes a battery and a USB charger so it operates without an external power supply.

Will the SE4710 2D engine read barcodes displayed on older CRT or low-contrast LCD screens?

The SE4710 2D engine is designed to capture standard 1D and 2D codes; performance on legacy CRT or low-contrast LCD panels depends on screen brightness and code quality.
