Handheld 1D CCD scanner reads damaged codes at 200 scans per second, survives 5-foot drops and includes a USB cable
The UNITECH MS250-CUCB00-DG is a corded handheld barcode scanner with a linear CCD engine. It connects through a USB interface and draws power directly from the host at 5 V DC. The unit weighs 0.19 lb and measures 6.43" x 3.11" x 2.46". It is finished in Slate Blue and includes a USB cable.
This scanner reads 1D symbologies such as UPC A/E, EAN 8/13, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar and GS1 databar at up to 200 scans per second. It is intended for point of sale, light inventory and asset tracking where contact or near-contact reading up to 4 inches is sufficient. Buyers who need two-dimensional code support or long-range scanning should look at other devices.
The linear CCD engine resolves bars as narrow as 3 mil (0.076 mm) at 45 percent minimum print contrast and provides an 80 mm scan field width. This determines whether the scanner can capture the specific barcode sizes and print quality used in your application.

Plug the included USB cable into the scanner and a host USB port; the step often missed is confirming the host recognises it as a HID keyboard device before scanning.
Clean the CCD scan window periodically with a lint-free cloth; the unit has no user-replaceable parts, so the scanner itself is replaced if the engine or cable fails.
Continuous operation draws <120 mA at 5 V DC, so the host USB port’s current limit is reached before the scanner’s own duty cycle.
