Convex mirror for blind-spot visibility

This 8 1/2 in round fisheye mirror provides a wide-angle view to help drivers see areas outside the standard field of vision. It is suited for industrial vehicles, trucks and equipment where improved peripheral awareness is required. The convex surface expands the viewing angle for safer manoeuvring.

Practical limits of a fixed convex lens

The curved surface distorts distance perception, so objects appear smaller and farther away than they actually are. A single mirror cannot cover every blind zone around a large vehicle. Vibration on rough terrain may blur the reflected image. Dirt, rain or ice on the surface will reduce clarity until cleaned.
