Questions about this item

How do I install the Unity 30-512800 kit and which step causes the most trouble?

The kit includes upper and lower mounts plus instructions. The step most people get wrong is torquing the mount bolts to the correct specification after lowering the vehicle onto the new springs.

What parts of this conversion kit will need replacement later?

The steel coil springs and included upper and lower mounts are designed for long-term use. Under normal conditions they do not require scheduled replacement.

What is the first limit I will hit under sustained heavy loads?

The fixed-rate steel springs set the load limit. Exceeding the vehicle's rated rear axle capacity will cause excessive sag and harsh bottoming.
