Universal Cambridge Audio Azur-640R universal remote

Direct replacement for Azur-640R

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Cambridge Audio Azur-640R handset. It arrives with every button function pre-programmed so it works immediately after inserting AAA batteries. The unit supports control of one device and uses infrared transmission. It is intended for owners who have lost or damaged the original remote.

Sustained everyday use

Infrared operation requires line of sight to the component, so performance stays consistent as long as the path is clear. Battery life will depend on how often the remote is used, but the AAA cells are easy to swap when needed. The 12 month guarantee covers defects that might appear during regular daily operation. No configuration is required after the initial battery installation.

Check before ordering

Verify that the component you want to control is the Cambridge Audio Azur-640R, because this remote is programmed only for that model. Ensure you have two AAA batteries available, as they are the sole power source. Confirm that infrared signals can reach the front panel of the unit from your usual listening position. Buyers needing to control multiple components should look elsewhere.
