Direct Replacement Remote

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Directed Video DV2602, 89451, and DV2605 models. It replicates every button and function of the original unit. It is intended for owners of those specific Directed Video devices who need a new handset. Buyers with other brands or model numbers should not order this remote.

Ready to Use Setup

Installation requires only inserting AAA batteries, as the remote arrives with all original functions pre-installed. No programming or code entry is needed to operate the supported device. The infrared signal requires a clear line of sight to the component. Obstructions or excessive distance will prevent reliable operation.

Verify Model Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm the model number on your original remote or device matches DV2602, 89451, or DV2605 exactly. This remote supports only one device and cannot control additional components such as TVs or sound systems. It is not suitable for users needing multi-device control or smart-home integration.
