Direct Replacement for Memorex DVD2100P

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the Memorex DVD2100P model 076R0JT020. It replicates every button and function of the original handset. The unit arrives pre-programmed and ready to operate immediately after batteries are inserted. It supports control for one device using infrared technology.

Check Your Original Remote and Battery Needs

Verify that your original remote matches the DVD2100P or 076R0JT020 model numbers before ordering. The remote requires AAA batteries which are not included in the package. Ensure your DVD player’s infrared sensor is unobstructed for reliable signal reception. No additional programming or setup steps are required for operation.

Pre-Programmed Convenience and Simple Maintenance

The remote is supplied with all original functions pre-installed, eliminating the need for manual code entry. Its standard button layout mirrors the original for familiar day-to-day navigation. Battery changes are straightforward using the rear compartment for AAA cells. The lightweight handset uses infrared transmission requiring direct line of sight to the player.

Questions about this item

Does the remote come with the two AAA batteries it needs, or must I buy them separately?

The unit ships without batteries; you will need to supply two AAA cells before use.

The listing mentions a single-device version — will that cover my DVD player and TV together?

This model is programmed for one device only, so it replaces the original Memorex DVD remote but cannot control a second component such as a television.

Once I put batteries in, does the 12-month guarantee cover setup problems or only hardware faults?

The 12-month guarantee applies to the remote itself; the unit arrives pre-programmed with every original button function, so no additional setup is required.
