Direct replacement for Emerson NF604UD

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Emerson NF604UD and SLC195EM8 models. It replicates every button and function of the factory remote. The unit arrives pre-programmed and ready to use immediately after inserting batteries. It is designed for owners who need an exact functional substitute.

Infrared control for one device

The remote communicates using infrared technology and supports control of a single device. This means it cannot manage multiple components such as a TV and soundbar simultaneously. Line-of-sight to the Emerson unit is required for operation. Buyers needing to consolidate control of several pieces of equipment should look elsewhere.

Ready to use with AAA batteries

Power is supplied by standard AAA batteries which are not included in the package. The pre-installed code set eliminates any setup procedure so the remote works the moment batteries are fitted. A twelve month guarantee covers the unit against defects. It is not suited for users who want programmable macros or learning capabilities.

Questions about this item

Which version matches my Emerson NF604UD or SLC195EM8 model?

This unit is a direct replacement for both the NF604UD and SLC195EM8 remotes, replicating every button and function of the original.

What does the single-device support mean once I put batteries in?

It controls one Emerson component only, so it will operate your TV or other Emerson device but cannot switch between multiple brands.

How does the infrared link limit everyday use?

Infrared requires a clear line of sight to the device, so you must point the remote at the front panel for every command.
