Direct replacement remote

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original MYRON&DAVIS AD212 unit. It reproduces every button function of the original remote control. The device arrives pre-programmed and ready to operate immediately after inserting batteries. It suits owners who need a like-for-like substitute without setup hassle.

Infrared single-device control

The remote uses infrared wireless technology to communicate with the target device. It supports control of only one device at a time. Operation requires direct line of sight between the handset and the equipment. Users needing multi-device macros or radio-frequency range will find this specification limiting.

One-device programming constraint

The specification lists support for a single device, meaning it cannot consolidate multiple entertainment components. Buyers who want a single remote for a TV, soundbar and streaming box should look elsewhere. This unit is built strictly to replicate the original AD212 handset. It does exactly that and nothing more.
