Direct replacement remote

The Universal NEC NP-M300W V260R remote is a direct replacement for the original unit supplied with compatible NEC projectors. It replicates every button and function of the original handset so classroom presenters and meeting-room operators regain full control without learning a new layout. The handset supports one device and communicates via infrared.

Upgrade from lost or damaged original

This remote replaces a lost, broken or worn-out original NEC NP-M300W V260R handset. The jump is worth it when the original remote is missing or buttons no longer respond reliably. It restores the exact command set without requiring programming or code entry.

Ready to use with two AAA batteries

Installation is limited to inserting two AAA batteries; the unit ships with the original command set pre-installed and requires no pairing or setup. The only common issue is forgetting that infrared demands a clear line of sight to the projector sensor. Obstructions or weak batteries are the typical causes of missed commands.

Questions about this item

Does this remote need any special mounting bracket or receiver to work with my NEC projector?

No, it uses infrared so it only requires line of sight to the projector's built-in sensor.

What is the correct way to install the batteries so the remote works immediately?

Insert two AAA batteries matching the polarity symbols inside the compartment; the unit ships pre-programmed so no pairing step is needed.

How often will I need to replace the batteries in this remote?

Typical alkaline AAA cells last several months; replace them when the operating range noticeably shortens.
