Ready-to-use NEC replacement remote

This universal remote replaces the original NEC RU-M121, E705, E805, E805AVT and E705AVT handsets. It ships with all original functions pre-installed so it works immediately after inserting batteries. The unit supports one device and uses infrared transmission. It is intended for owners of compatible NEC displays who need a direct substitute.

Infrared control with AAA power

The remote communicates via infrared and runs on standard AAA batteries. Button layout mirrors the original controller, providing identical day-to-day operation without reprogramming. Build quality matches a standard replacement handset designed for living-room or meeting-room use. No pairing or setup steps are required beyond inserting the cells.

Direct swap for lost or broken originals

This product replaces a missing or damaged NEC remote without adding new capabilities. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original handset is lost, physically broken or no longer responds reliably. It is not for users who want multi-device control, backlit keys, RF or Bluetooth operation, or programmable macros.
