Direct Replacement Remote

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original NEC VT540K, RD369E and 7N900071 controllers. It supports one device and replicates every button function of the original unit. The remote arrives pre-programmed and ready to use once AAA batteries are inserted. It is intended for owners of compatible NEC projectors or displays needing a like-for-like substitute.

Infrared Operation

The handset communicates via infrared, requiring line-of-sight to the display for reliable control. Power is supplied by standard AAA batteries, which are not included in the package. There are no charging circuits, pairing procedures or wireless protocols to configure. Normal use consists of pointing the remote at the sensor and pressing the desired keys.

Pre-Programmed Layout

The button layout mirrors the original remote exactly, so muscle memory and on-screen menus remain unchanged. No learning mode, code entry or software setup is required at any stage. The unit is built as a dedicated single-device controller and cannot store commands for additional equipment. Buyers needing multi-device control or macro programming should consider a different solution.

Battery life is the first limit; expect to change AAA cells every few months depending on how often you press buttons.
