Direct replacement for Pioneer CXB7434 DEX-P9

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Pioneer CXB7434 DEX-P9 unit. It replicates every button and function of the factory remote. The device arrives pre-programmed with the original command set. Simply insert batteries and it is ready for immediate use.

No programming required, infrared only

Installation is straightforward because the remote comes with all functions pre-installed. There is no setup procedure or code entry needed. The unit operates solely via infrared, so it requires a clear line of sight to the Pioneer component. Obstructions or excessive distance will prevent reliable operation.

Controls one Pioneer device only

The remote supports control of a single device, matching the original one-to-one relationship. It comfortably handles all standard playback, menu and tuning functions for the compatible Pioneer model. It cannot manage additional components such as a television, soundbar or streaming box. Buyers needing multi-device consolidation should look elsewhere.
