Direct Replacement for 3M X55 Series

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original 3M X55, S55, X55i, S55i, S20 and MP7650 remote controls. It replicates every button and function of the original unit so operation remains identical. The device supports control of one piece of equipment using infrared wireless technology. It arrives with the original functions pre-installed and is ready to use once batteries are fitted.

Check Infrared Compatibility and Battery Supply

Before ordering, confirm that your 3M device receives commands via infrared, as this remote uses only that wireless technology. Ensure you have two AAA batteries available, because they are required for operation but may not be included in the package. Verify that the model number of your projector or display matches the supported X55, S55, X55i, S55i, S20 or MP7650 series to guarantee full button mapping.

Consistent Response During Extended Use

Under sustained use the remote maintains reliable infrared transmission for each button press across long presentations or viewing sessions. The simple single-device design avoids command conflicts or mode-switching delays that can appear on multi-device remotes. Battery life will depend on usage intensity, but the low-power infrared emitter supports consistent performance over the 12 month guarantee period.
