Universal remote for AIWA audio systems

This replacement handset operates AIWA models CXNA777, CXNA767 and NSXAJ80 using infrared commands. It reproduces every button from the original 8ZNF8701010 remote so all functions remain available. The unit arrives pre-programmed and works after inserting two AAA batteries. It is intended for owners who need a direct substitute for a lost or damaged controller.

Check compatibility and battery supply

Verify that your AIWA device carries one of the three model numbers listed above before ordering. The remote controls only one device and cannot be reprogrammed for other brands or additional equipment. Infrared operation requires an unobstructed line of sight to the front panel sensor. Two AAA cells are required and are not included in the package.

Infrared operation with minimal power draw

Infrared transmission consumes very little energy, so a fresh pair of AAA batteries typically lasts for months of normal use. The handset produces no audible noise because it has no moving parts or cooling fans. Heat generation is negligible during everyday button presses. No external power adapter or charging cable is needed.

Questions about this item

Does the remote come with the two AAA batteries it needs, or must I buy them separately?

The unit ships without batteries; you need to supply two AAA cells before it will operate.

This remote is listed for the CXNA777, CXNA767 and NSXAJ80 — is one version better for my CXNA777?

There is only one version; it is pre-programmed with the complete button set for all three model numbers, so it works identically on your CXNA777.

The description says it replaces the original 8ZNF8701010 — will every button on the CXNA777 respond exactly as before?

Yes, each key duplicates the original remote's function, so volume, input selection and menu navigation behave the same once batteries are fitted.
