Universal remote for Kenwood RC-V7000 RC-V8500L KA-V7000 KA-V8500

Replacement remote for KENWOOD models

This infrared universal remote directly replaces the original KENWOOD RC-V7000, RC-V8500L, KA-V7000 and KA-V8500 handsets. It arrives pre-programmed with every button function so it works immediately after inserting two AAA batteries. The unit supports control of a single device and is intended for owners who have lost or damaged the factory remote.

Upgrade from a missing or broken original

The remote restores full operation when the supplied handset is lost, damaged or no longer responds. It is worth switching when the original infrared transmitter fails or the button contacts wear out, because the replacement duplicates every command without requiring a learning sequence. Buyers who need to control multiple pieces of equipment from one handset should look elsewhere, as this unit manages only one device.

Sustained everyday use

Infrared transmission remains consistent during extended viewing sessions because the signal does not depend on pairing or radio congestion. Battery life scales with typical AAA cell capacity and the low duty cycle of occasional button presses. The plastic housing and membrane keypad are built for daily handling, and the pre-loaded code set eliminates the risk of corrupted macros that can appear after repeated reprogramming on learning remotes.
