This universal remote replaces the original Mitsubishi 290P150010 unit for HC5000 and HC4900 projectors. It reproduces every button function from the factory handset so the projector responds exactly as before. No programming is required because the codes are pre-installed. Simply insert batteries and the remote is ready to operate.

Single-Device Infrared Control

The handset supports one device at a time using infrared transmission. It handles all standard projector operations such as power, input selection, menu navigation and lens adjustments. Because it is limited to a single device code, it cannot consolidate additional AV equipment like receivers or streaming boxes. Line-of-sight to the projector sensor is necessary for reliable operation.

AAA Battery Power

Two AAA cells power the remote and are the only consumable required. The unit ships with functions already installed so there is no setup routine beyond fitting the batteries. Users who prefer rechargeable cells or a rechargeable handset will need a different solution. The battery compartment is accessed by sliding the cover off the back.
