Direct replacement for Mitsubishi projectors

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the Mitsubishi XD490U, XL2550U and XL8U models. It reproduces every button and function of the original handset. The unit ships with the correct infrared codes already installed. Simply insert the required AAA batteries and it is ready to use.

Suits owners needing a like-for-like spare

The remote supports a single device and uses infrared transmission only. It is ideal for users who want an exact functional duplicate without programming steps. Buyers who need to control multiple pieces of equipment from one handset should look at a multi-device universal remote instead.

Check infrared line of sight and battery type

Verify that the projector’s infrared sensor is unobstructed and within normal operating distance. Confirm you have AAA batteries available, as they are required for power. No additional setup or pairing procedure is needed beyond inserting the batteries.
