Direct Replacement for Onkyo TX-SV454

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Onkyo TX-SV454, 24140371, and RC371M models. It replicates every button and function of the supplied handset. The unit arrives pre-programmed and requires only AAA batteries to operate. It is intended for owners who have lost or damaged their original remote.

Infrared Control for Single Device

The remote uses infrared technology to communicate with the receiver. This requires a clear line of sight between the handset and the front panel sensor. It supports control of one device only and cannot manage additional home-theatre components. Obstructions or excessive distance will prevent commands from being received.

Upgrade from Lost or Broken Original

This product replaces a missing or non-functional Onkyo RC371M remote. The jump is worth it when the original handset is unavailable and a fully functional equivalent is needed immediately. It is not for users seeking multi-device consolidation, macro programming, or radio-frequency control. Buyers needing control of several components should look elsewhere.
