Direct replacement for Pioneer receivers

This universal remote replaces the original Pioneer HTP710, XXD3028, VSXD810S and VSXD710S handsets. It supports a single device using infrared transmission. The unit arrives with the original button functions pre-installed and is ready to operate once AAA batteries are fitted. A 12-month guarantee covers the replacement.

Pre-installed button layout matches the original

Every button from the factory remote is reproduced so no re-mapping or learning step is required. Infrared operation means line-of-sight to the receiver is necessary. The only user action is inserting two AAA cells, after which all functions work immediately. No software, apps or pairing procedures are involved.

Controls one Pioneer home-theatre system

The remote handles power, volume, input selection and menu navigation for the compatible models listed above. It does not support multiple devices, so a separate handset is still needed for a TV, Blu-ray player or streaming box. Range is limited by standard infrared physics and obstructions. Buyers who want multi-device control or radio-frequency operation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the AAA batteries need replacing with daily use?

The remote runs on standard AAA cells; typical household use gives several months per set, and fresh batteries restore full infrared range immediately.

What is the first limitation you hit when using this remote continuously for hours?

Infrared requires direct line of sight to the Pioneer receiver, so the practical limit is maintaining an unobstructed path rather than any internal duty cycle.

Does the handset get warm or make any noise after being left on all day?

No moving parts or active electronics generate heat or sound; the unit stays at room temperature and is completely silent during operation.
