Direct replacement for ROTEL RC1090 and RA985BX

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original ROTEL RC1090 and RA985BX remote controls. It supports one device and uses infrared wireless technology. Every button from the original remote is replicated. It arrives with functions pre-installed and ready to use after inserting AAA batteries.

Replaces a lost or damaged original handset

The unit replaces a lost, broken or worn-out ROTEL remote without any programming required. The jump is worth it when the original handset is unavailable or the buttons no longer respond reliably. It restores full control of the supported component immediately. No setup codes or learning steps are needed.

Insert AAA batteries and start using it

Installation consists of opening the battery compartment, fitting AAA batteries and pointing the remote at the component. The main issue that goes wrong is inserting the batteries with incorrect polarity. Weak or depleted cells will cause intermittent operation. Ensure the infrared path to the device is not blocked.
