Universal remote for Yamaha AX890 AX592 AX492 AX590

Direct replacement for Yamaha hi-fi remotes

This universal remote replaces the original handset for Yamaha AX890, AX592, AX492 and AX590 hi-fi amplifiers. It ships with every button function pre-programmed so it works immediately after inserting two AAA batteries. Infrared transmission matches the original protocol exactly.

Ideal for owners who lost

Suits anyone needing a like-for-like substitute without learning codes or running a setup routine. Buyers who want a single remote to control multiple brands or who need macro programming should look at a multi-device model instead.

Consistent infrared output over long listening

Button presses remain reliable during extended use because the IR emitter maintains steady power from fresh AAA cells. No rechargeable pack is fitted, so performance does not fade as a built-in battery ages.
