Direct replacement for MCINTOSH C46 121042

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original MCINTOSH C46 121042 unit. It replicates every button and function of the factory remote. The device arrives with all codes pre-installed and operates immediately after inserting batteries. It is intended for owners who need a like-for-like substitute without programming steps.

Controls exactly one device via infrared

The remote supports a single device and communicates exclusively through infrared. It requires direct line of sight to the MCINTOSH component and cannot control additional equipment such as TVs or streaming boxes. Buyers needing multi-device consolidation or radio-frequency operation should consider other solutions.

Consistent infrared output for daily use

Infrared transmission remains steady during repeated button presses across typical listening sessions. The included AAA battery powers the handset for extended periods under normal household conditions. There is no rechargeable cell or charging circuit to manage over time.

Battery powered convenience

The unit runs on a standard AAA battery installed at the factory. No pairing, setup software or firmware updates are required at any point. It is not suited for users who prefer rechargeable handsets or app-based control interfaces.
