Direct replacement for NEC projectors

This universal remote replaces the original NEC 7N900382 unit supplied with VT460, VT465, VT560 and VT660 projectors. It reproduces every button function of the factory remote so menu navigation, source switching and keystone controls behave identically. The handset arrives pre-programmed and only requires two AAA batteries to operate.

Check battery type and infrared line of sight

Verify that your projector still responds to infrared commands and that nothing blocks the sensor on the front or rear of the unit. The remote uses standard AAA cells which are not included, so have a fresh pair ready before installation. No pairing or setup routine is needed because the codes are fixed at the factory.

Upgrades a lost or damaged original remote

If the supplied NEC remote has been lost, broken or suffers from worn buttons, this unit restores full control without any learning procedure. The jump is worth it when the original handset is unavailable, because it delivers identical operation instantly. Buyers who need multi-device control or radio-frequency operation should look elsewhere, as this model supports only a single projector via infrared.

Questions about this item
