Direct replacement remote

The RCA RS2600 RS1286B universal remote is a direct replacement for the original unit. It replicates every button and function of the factory remote. The device arrives pre-programmed and ready to use once AAA batteries are installed. It supports control of a single device via infrared.

Single-device infrared users

This remote suits owners of the matching RCA component who need a like-for-like substitute without setup hassle. It is not for users who want to consolidate multiple home-theatre devices into one handset. Buyers needing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or radio-frequency control should look elsewhere. The infrared link also requires direct line of sight to the equipment.

Pre-programmed convenience

The handset handles all original commands for the supported device immediately after battery insertion. There is no learning mode or code entry required for the target model. Capacity ends at one device, so a second component cannot be added. The 12 month guarantee covers the supplied unit.
