Direct Replacement Remote

This universal remote is a direct replacement for SIRIUS SXABB2, SXABBR and SXABB1 models. It replicates every button and function of the original handset. The unit arrives pre-programmed and ready to operate immediately after inserting batteries. It controls a single device using infrared signals.

For Single-Device SIRIUS Owners

This remote suits owners who need a like-for-like substitute for a lost or broken SIRIUS handset. It is not suitable for buyers who want to consolidate multiple pieces of equipment under one controller. Users requiring radio-frequency or smart-home integration should look elsewhere. The infrared link also requires direct line of sight to the component.

One Device Infrared Limit

The specification that decides fit is the single-device infrared capability. The remote manages exactly one component and cannot learn additional codes for other gear. Infrared operation demands an unobstructed path between handset and receiver. Verify your model matches SXABB2, SXABBR or SXABB1 before ordering.
