Direct Replacement Remote

This universal remote serves as a direct replacement for the original SVA VR20V2 and VR20 models. It replicates every button and function found on the factory remote. The unit arrives with all codes pre-installed so it works immediately after batteries are inserted. It is intended for owners of those specific SVA devices who need a like-for-like substitute.

Simple Battery Installation

Setup requires only inserting AAA batteries into the compartment and pointing the handset at the equipment. Infrared transmission demands a clear line of sight to the device sensor. Obstructions, low battery voltage or extreme angles are the typical reasons a command fails to register. No programming steps or code entry are required at any stage.

Verify Your Model First

Confirm the equipment label reads exactly VR20V2 or VR20 before ordering. The remote supports control of one device only and cannot operate additional components such as sound bars or streaming boxes. Buyers needing multi-device control or radio-frequency operation should consider other solutions. Ensure AAA cells are available for first use.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the remote is working correctly after inserting the batteries?

Point the infrared emitter at the SVA device and press any button; the device should respond immediately, confirming the replacement functions match the original VR20V2 layout.

What is included in the box and do I need to purchase anything else to start using it?

The remote arrives pre-programmed for the SVA VR20V2 and VR20 models; you only need to supply two AAA batteries, which are not included, before it is ready to use.

Which version should I choose if I own an SVA VR20V2 versus a standard VR20?

This single universal version is a direct replacement for both the VR20V2 and the original VR20, so no separate model selection is required.
