Direct replacement for Sylvania remotes

This universal remote directly replaces the original SYLVANIA SRPD442, 6842PEA, NE801UD and 6842PE models. It arrives pre-programmed with every function of the original handset so no setup codes are required. Simply insert the batteries and it is ready to operate the compatible device immediately.

Controls one device via infrared

The handset supports a single device using infrared transmission, matching the original remote’s capability. It provides full button-for-button parity for that device but cannot manage additional components such as a sound bar or streaming box. Buyers needing multi-device control will find this limitation restrictive.

Includes pre-installed functions only

No separate code list, learning feature or companion software is supplied; all commands are factory-loaded for the listed Sylvania models. The unit ships new with a twelve-month guarantee and requires two AAA batteries to operate. Users wanting custom macros or firmware updates have no pathway to add them.
