Direct replacement for three Akai models

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Akai LCT32Z5TAP, PDP42Z5TA and PDP5074HNC remote controls. It replicates every button and function of the supplied handsets. The unit arrives pre-programmed so it works immediately after inserting batteries. It is intended for owners of those specific Akai televisions who need a new handset.

Controls one device via infrared

The remote supports a single device at a time using infrared wireless technology. It provides full command coverage for the compatible Akai models but cannot operate additional equipment such as sound bars or streaming boxes. Power comes from standard AAA batteries which are not included. Users needing multi-device control will require a different solution.

Ready to use with installed functions

No setup or code entry is required because the original functions are installed at the factory. Infrared transmission keeps power draw low during normal button presses. The handset has no backlight or display, so operation is silent. A twelve month guarantee covers the product against defects.
