Universal universal remote for Magnavox 19MD358B37 19MD358B37X 996510012396

Direct replacement for Magnavox 19MD358B37

This universal remote replaces the original Magnavox 19MD358B37, 19MD358B37X and 996510012396 handset. It reproduces every button and function of the factory unit. The remote arrives pre-programmed and works immediately after inserting batteries. It is intended for owners of those specific Magnavox models who need a new controller.

Infrared control limited to one device

The remote uses infrared wireless technology and supports a single device at a time. It requires direct line of sight to the television sensor for reliable operation. There is no multi-device switching or radio-frequency capability. Users needing to control additional equipment such as sound bars or streaming boxes will need a separate solution.

Upgrades a lost or broken original remote

This unit replaces a missing or damaged Magnavox remote without any setup procedure. The jump is worthwhile when the original handset is no longer functional and a direct, ready-to-use substitute is preferred over a multi-brand programmable alternative. It is not for buyers who want macro programming, backlit keys or control of more than one device.
