Direct replacement remote

The RCA RCR192AB1 universal remote replaces the original model 273471 with identical button layout and functions. It arrives pre-programmed so no setup codes are required. Insert two AAA batteries and the handset is ready to operate the target device immediately. The unit controls exactly one piece of equipment.

Infrared line-of-sight control

Communication relies on infrared signals that need an unobstructed path between the remote and the device sensor. Bright sunlight or strong artificial light can reduce reliable range. The handset has no radio or network capability so it cannot operate through walls or cabinets.

Verify original model and battery supply

Confirm the device you want to control matches the RCR192AB1 or 273471 model numbers before ordering. Two AAA cells are required but are not included in the package. Buyers who need multi-device control or backlit keys should consider a different solution.
