Direct replacement for VIVITEK projectors

This universal remote is a direct replacement for VIVITEK DX6831 DH833 DH913 DU3341 DU3340 DH3331 models. It replicates every button and function of the original handset. The unit arrives pre-programmed so it works immediately after inserting batteries. It is intended for owners of those specific projectors who need a new handset.

Infrared line-of-sight control only

The remote uses infrared wireless technology which requires a clear line of sight to the projector sensor. It supports control of only one device at a time. Obstructions, bright ambient light or excessive distance will interrupt the signal. Users needing radio-frequency or multi-device control should look elsewhere.

Ready to use with two AAA batteries

Installation consists of fitting two AAA batteries and pointing the remote at the projector. No pairing, code entry or software setup is required. The most common issue is depleted or incorrectly oriented batteries. Physical damage to the infrared emitter or a blocked sensor on the projector will also prevent operation.

Questions about this item

Which Vivitek projector models does this universal remote replace?

This remote is a direct replacement for the Vivitek DX6831, DH833, DH913, DU3341, DU3340 and DH3331 models.

What does "Number of Devices Supported: 1" mean for daily use?

The remote controls a single Vivitek projector; it cannot be programmed to operate a second device such as a soundbar or streaming box.

How does the infrared interface affect placement?

Infrared requires a clear line of sight to the projector's sensor, so the remote must be pointed directly at the unit with no obstacles blocking the path.
