Ready-to-use VU+ replacement

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original VU+ SOLO, SOLO2, SOLO-SE, DUO, UNO, ULTIMO and ZERO handsets. It arrives with every function pre-programmed so it works immediately after inserting batteries. The unit supports one device and uses infrared transmission. It is intended for owners of those specific receivers who need a new handset without any setup hassle.

Lightweight infrared handset

The remote is powered by standard AAA batteries which slot into the back of the unit. Infrared operation means it requires a clear line of sight to the receiver front panel. Buttons replicate the full layout of the original remote, so muscle memory remains unchanged. No pairing, apps or network configuration are involved; the handset is ready the moment batteries are fitted.

Passive operation with long battery life

Because the remote only transmits when a button is pressed, it draws no power while idle. Typical AAA cells will last for many months of normal living-room use. There are no fans, backlights or active circuits to generate heat or noise. The handset stays cool and completely silent during everyday operation.
