Direct replacement for RX-V595RDS

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original YAMAHA RX-V595RDS unit. It supports control of one device and arrives with all original functions pre-installed. The infrared handset is ready to use immediately after inserting batteries.

Check infrared line of sight and battery type

Verify that your RX-V595RDS receiver responds to infrared commands and that nothing blocks the front sensor. The remote requires AAA batteries, which are not included, so have a pair ready before first use.

Pre-programmed layout with standard AAA power

Every button matches the original remote layout, so muscle memory transfers instantly. The lightweight plastic housing uses a common AAA battery compartment that is easy to open and close during routine changes.

Questions about this item

Does the remote come with the AAA batteries it needs, or must I buy them separately?

The remote is supplied without batteries; you will need to purchase AAA cells separately before use.

This remote is described as universal yet supports only one device — what does that mean for my setup?

It is a direct replacement dedicated to the YAMAHA RX-V595RDS receiver, so it controls that single unit rather than multiple components.

The listing mentions a 12-month guarantee — what does that cover once the remote is in daily use?

The guarantee protects against defects in materials or workmanship for twelve months from purchase.
