Direct Replacement for YSP-500 and YSP-900

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Yamaha YSP-500 and YSP-900 controllers. It arrives pre-programmed with every function of the factory unit. The device supports control of one audio component via infrared. It is intended for owners who have lost or damaged their original handset.

Ready-to-Use Infrared Handset

The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included, and works immediately after installation. Its button layout mirrors the original design, providing identical access to all soundbar features. Infrared operation means the handset must maintain line of sight with the soundbar sensor. The lightweight plastic construction matches the feel of the supplied accessory.

Low-Power Infrared Operation

Power draw is minimal, so a fresh pair of AAA cells typically lasts many months of daily use. The infrared emitter produces no audible noise and generates no perceptible heat during normal operation. There are no cooling requirements or active components to wear out. The supplier backs the unit with a 12 month guarantee against defects.
