Direct replacement remote

The MAGNAVOX ZV450MW8 and NB555 universal remote is a new infrared handset that ships with the original button layout pre-installed. It controls a single device and runs on standard AAA batteries, so it works immediately after insertion.

Ideal for owners of listed models

This remote suits anyone needing a like-for-like substitute for a Magnavox ZV450MW8, NB555, ZV450MW8A or NB555UD unit. It is not for households that want one handset to operate multiple pieces of equipment.

Single-device control with 12-month coverage

The handset handles every function of the original remote for its supported model. It does not extend to a second device, and the infrared link requires direct line of sight to the player.

Questions about this item

Does the Magnavox ZV450MW8 remote need any extra equipment to operate?

It only requires two AAA batteries, which are not included, and then it works immediately with the listed Magnavox models.

Will the ZV450MW8 remote control a second device such as a soundbar or streaming box?

No, the remote supports exactly one device, so it cannot operate additional equipment alongside your Magnavox unit.

How can I verify the ZV450MW8 remote is functioning correctly after inserting the batteries?

Point it at the Magnavox player and press Power; the device should turn on, confirming the infrared signal is working.
